The Aris Allen 1940s Swing Spectator Mary Jane Wingtip features beautiful vintage swing era styling and a quick suede sole that's perfect on the dancefloor. After trying these on several dancers, overwhelmingly they reported that these shoes run true to size. When asked, women who said, for instance, "I almost always wear a 7, but sometimes a 6.5", found that they were happiest with the size 7. You will get lots of complements on these shoes. They are adorable and I just love them. The shoe is absolutely comfortable. The heel is two inches high which is easy to walk in(great for the office). The insole is lined with a reddish pink suede and the insole is padded with lots of cushioning. On the bottom of the shoe, is suede in black. The shoe strap is easy to get on and off and is adjustable. If you love retro styles and comfort these are the way to go.

I’m not a dancer, I just really liked the look of these shoes. They fit true to size. I have wide feet, and they weren’t too tight. Very cushioned. Interesting, but very easy clasp on the strap. All-around love these shoes.

Not only are these Aris Allens completely adorable — 1940’s wingtip Mary Jane heels!! — but they are fabulous for dancing balboa. You may be wondering if you should spend $70 on shoes when you normally dance lindy hop in disposable $15 Keds. I know I did…until I bought these. Consider that shoes are the tools of your trade…and these are the stylish Craftsman of the dancing world. The pink insole is comfortable, the heels are tall enough for balboa and sturdy enough that you won’t feel wobbly, the entire foot feels supported and the suede on the sole means that these will be slick enough for dancing in no time. If you love dancing balboa, you will love these shoes.

Super cute, retro look. You will get compliments on them. They are soft and sueded on the inside. They do not stick to my feet or rub blisters (even though it’s summer and 100 degrees where I live in TX). They have sueded soles, so you don’t slip on polished floors. They are very flattering and make my size 9.5 feet look dainty and cute. I like them so much, I will probably buy another style in this brand. Oh, and I’m wearing them as regular dress/work shoes. I’m not a dancer.

Firstly, these shoes are even cuter in person. I love wearing heels with my everyday clothes, and I love retro/40s/50s/60s rockabilly style. So while I am not a dancer, I figured these shoes would likely be practically comfortable and durable…and they were! I would buy this brand again, and I wish this brand had more styles! A good buy.
